• Complete examinations prior to departure and upon arrival to ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of the vehicle.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules faithfully, prioritizing timeliness.
• Ensure logs of driving activities are accurate and in line with federal and state guidelines.
• Inform dispatchers about delivery statuses and promptly report any encountered problems to ensure effective communication.
• Properly secure and handle the cargo to prevent any potential harm or destruction.
• Comply with both traffic laws and the policies outlined by the company.
• Assist in moving freight onto and off of trucks as necessary.
