Forklift Operator

Job Description

Blue Rhino Propane is looking for a Full-Time Forklift Operator to join the team! In this role, you will inspect and transport propane cylinders using a forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. OSHA certified in-house training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports propane cylinders around the yard using a forklift
• Handles and maintains flow of materials and products following safety guidelines
• May be required to work evening hours and weekends
• Completes and submits log sheets, BOLs, packing slips, and required paperwork
• Performs forklift inspections for mechanical safety and OSHA compliance
• Inspects vehicles and notifies supervisor when maintenance is needed
• Maintains professional appearance and demeanor
• Assists production shifts with staffing needs when not operating a forklift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, understand, and pass required training and exams
• 1+ years of work experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds in all weather conditions
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
