Responsibilities:

• The importance of managing tractor-trailers in a safe and measured way cannot be overstated as it ensures the safety of all drivers.
• Before hitting the road, take the time to carefully inspect your vehicle's condition through thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• The formulation of efficient delivery routes is essential in meeting the expected arrival times of packages to all locations.
• The transport of goods should always prioritize their security. To minimize any potential damages, use secure packaging materials and ensure that parcels are handled with care throughout the entire transportation process.
• Without clear communication with dispatchers and customers, the process of making successful deliveries can become complicated and challenging.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of both work hours and vehicle maintenance in order to maintain accurate records.
• The safety regulations and DOT guidelines exist for a reason, and it's up to us to adhere strictly to them so that we can carry out our work safely and effectively.
• The timely reporting of any vehicle-related issues, accidents, or infringements is essential to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Meet the criteria for obtaining a Class A CDL license.
• Sporting an untarnished record behind the wheel with no serious infringements.
• Satisfy the DOT requirements for clearing a physical examination and drug test.
• Knowledgeable in adhering to DOT guidelines and safety procedures to meet compliance standards.
• Excellent proficiency in managing time and organizing tasks in a structured manner.
• Skill in proficiently managing and transporting cumbersome items.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are vital in developing strong, lasting client connections.
• Keeping safety standards intact necessitates swift reporting of vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or violations.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• People enrolled in CDL training programs or schools are acquiring the knowledge and honing in the skills required to operate commercial vehicles safely and effectively
• Entry-level commercial drivers
• 12-week training regimens for optimal results
• Professionals with varying amounts of experience, anywhere from three months to more than five years
