Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of tractor-trailers is essential in protecting fellow drivers and avoiding potential hazardous situations on the road.
• The best way to keep your vehicle in top condition is by conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that it is in good working order.
• Developing and implementing effective delivery routes is necessary to guarantee that all deliveries are made timely and promptly.
• Protecting goods in transit should be a top priority. Use high-quality packaging materials and load and unload packages carefully to avoid damage throughout the entire transportation process.
• Without clear communication with dispatchers and customers, the process of making successful deliveries can become complicated and challenging.
• Keep track of work hours with exactitude and maintain detailed logs of all vehicle maintenance and service.
• Following safety regulations and DOT guidelines may sometimes seem like an inconvenience, but it is essential to do so if we want to keep everyone safe and healthy.
• In order to remain within safety and regulatory boundaries, it is vital to report any vehicle concerns, accidents, or violations in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Hold a current and legitimate Class A CDL permit.
• Showing an immaculate record behind the wheel with no serious infractions.
• Successfully pass a physical examination and drug screening as per the DOT standards.
• In-depth understanding of DOT compliance regulations and safety protocols for commercial transportation.
• Exceptional talent in managing time and organizing work with great precision.
• Proficiency in efficiently conveying and moving oversized materials.
• Building positive relationships with clients is reliant on effective communication techniques and unparalleled customer service aptitude.
• Making sure that vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or disregarding regulations are timely reported is critical in maintaining safety protocols.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• People enrolled in CDL training programs or schools are acquiring the knowledge and honing in the skills required to operate commercial vehicles safely and effectively
• Entry-level commercial drivers
• Accelerated training with a duration of 12 weeks
• A group of individuals with varying levels of experience, some with just a few months and others with five or more years
