Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all motorists are protected by operating tractor-trailers safely.
• Inspect the vehicle carefully before and after each journey to verify that it is in good condition.
• Devise a plan for delivery routes that optimizes efficiency and ensures timely arrivals at all destinations.
• The industry norms for safe transportation, including secure packaging and appropriate handling, ensure that all shipments reach their intended destination without any mishap.
• Smooth deliveries are only possible when drivers are equipped with effective communication skills for coordinated efforts with dispatchers and customers.
• Achieve success in your role by meticulously tracking your work hours and keeping precise maintenance records for your vehicle.
• Safety protocols and DOT regulations should be treated with the utmost importance and followed accordingly.
• Reporting vehicle issues, accidents, or violations promptly is crucial to maintain safety and comply with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Acquiring a legitimate and established Class A CDL license.
• Clean driving record.
• The completion of a DOT physical and drug screening is an essential requirement that must be fulfilled to get the job.
• An expert in adhering to DOT guidelines and safety standards.
• Proficient in utilizing time wisely and planning tasks meticulously.
• Proficient in the safe and effective movement of heavy items and machinery.
• Remarkable abilities in building rapport with clients and providing unparalleled customer service.
• Failure to immediately report vehicle issues, accidents, or violations could put safety at risk and may result in regulatory non-compliance.
