Physicals
Candidates need to present a recent physical exam conducted within the previous 6 months, valid for at least 6 months and not due to expire within the next 3 months, or undergo a new physical either before their arrival or upon participating in the Fort Dodge, IA Orientation.
Drug Test
All candidates must undergo drug screening through both urinalysis and hair follicle testing before attending Orientation. If it is not feasible to conduct the tests beforehand, they will be carried out on the initial day of Orientation. Drivers will only be assigned to their vehicle once the test results confirm negative.
Students
The training program spans four weeks, consisting of one week dedicated to Orientation and three weeks under the guidance of an Over-The-Road (OTR) trainer. During Orientation, participants can earn $100 per day, while the period with a trainer offers tuition reimbursement of up to $6,000. The payment range during training is between 52 to 70 cents per mile
