Responsibilities:

• Stress the need to prioritize the safety of every driver maneuvering tractor-trailers on the highways.
• Validate the fitness of vehicles for travel by conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Organize and optimize delivery routes to meet scheduling requirements and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Make sure shipments are transported safely and securely by following industry standards for handling and packaging.
• Foster open and transparent communication with both dispatchers and customers throughout all delivery interactions.
• Stay organized by documenting work hours and vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Implementing safety protocols and adhering to DOT guidelines is paramount in ensuring the well-being of personnel and cargo.
• Stay in line with regulations by promptly reporting any vehicle issues, accidents, or infractions.

Qualifications:

• Posses an up-to-date Class A CDL authorization.
• Clean driving record.
• Execution of a DOT physical evaluation and substance abuse testing.
• Proficiency in time-management and synchronization of tasks.
• Capable of securely moving and lifting heavy materials with ease.
• Experienced in customer care, with a talent for cultivating rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Immediately report any concerns or violations related to vehicles to prioritize safety and compliance.

Preferred Experience:

• Dry Van, Refrigerated (Reefer), Flatbed, Tanker
• Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, Auto Hauler represent distinct approaches to transporting goods and automobiles across different distances
• Household goods consist of various items commonly found in homes for everyday use
