Qualifications of Long-Haul Truck Driver:
- ALong-Haul Truck Driver endorsement is necessary
- - The position mandates the possession of a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card, or the candidate must have the capability to secure it
- Successful candidates need to demonstrate one year of recorded tractor-trailer experience within the last three years, or two years of recorded tractor-trailer experience within the last five years
- -Maintaining a driving record free of more than two moving violations or accidents within the last three years
- Adhere to the legal requirements established at both the federal and state levels, including adherence to agency standards and guidelines
- Punctual and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of the position
- Follow the prescribed work timetable, operate from the designated premises, fill out the necessary Penske job form, consent to a thorough background check covering past work experience, academic history, and any criminal background, and participate in a mandatory drug screening
- This role is overseen by the Department of Transportation or identified as safety essential by the employer, demanding individuals to remain vigilant and maintain a secure working environment. Employees are expected to take ownership of their personal safety and that of others.

The employee must have the capability to lift and/or relocate items weighing up to 50lbs/23kg on a regular basis and occasionally handle loads of up to 100lbs/45kg.
- It is essential for the staff member to have the capability to lawfully drive a motor vehicle and adeptly enter and exit the vehicle, along with the rear storage area, as needed.
