Job Duties for Company Drivers:

A CDL-A Company Driver's primary duty is to transport goods using company-owned commercial vehicles while maintaining safety and meeting delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport freight to designated locations using trucks assigned by the company.
• Verify vehicle safety and compliance by conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain punctuality by following assigned routes and schedules accordingly.
• Maintain accurate driving logs to stay compliant with federal and state regulations.
• Provide dispatchers with accurate updates on delivery progress and promptly notify them of any issues that may impact the delivery process.
• Take necessary measures to secure and handle the cargo properly to prevent damage.
• Respect and uphold both traffic laws and company regulations.
• Help with the transfer of cargo as necessary.
