Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibly driving large trucks to ensure the safety of all road users.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to guarantee they are performing at their best.
• Implement logistical strategies to secure timely arrivals at specified destinations.
• Adhere to industry-recommended procedures for securing cargo to decrease potential risks and maintain the safety of the shipment.
• Ensure that communication remains clear with all parties involved to guarantee deliveries are both timely and accurate.
• Increase productivity levels by tracking and recording work hours meticulously, along with ensuring regular vehicle maintenance.
• Be sure to adhere to safety protocols diligently and comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Immediately report any vehicle issues, accidents, or violations to guarantee safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Having an authorized Class A CDL driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug test.
• In-depth familiarity with DOT regulations and guidelines concerning safety practices.
• Demonstrates strong abilities in time management and organization.
• Experienced in the safe and effective transfer of heavy machinery and equipment.
• Impressive communication proficiency and a strong emphasis on meeting customer expectations.
• Demonstrating a commitment to safety and regulatory standards by promptly reporting incidents and vehicle issues.
