Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety when operating commercial vehicles by adhering to guidelines and regulations.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections are essential to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road, as well as optimizing your vehicle's performance.
• Create an optimized delivery schedule and map out effective routes to minimize delays.
• Industry safety protocols should be strictly followed to minimize the risk of accidents or mishaps during cargo handling.
• Stay in frequent communication with both dispatchers and customers to guarantee that all deliveries proceed without any issues.
• Accurate documentation of work hours and vehicle maintenance is imperative.
• Complying with DOT regulations and safety instructions is not only a legal obligation but also a moral responsibility, considering the impacts of transportation lapses on human lives and the environment.
• Make sure to notify the appropriate authorities quickly if any accidents, problems with the vehicle, or violations are encountered.
• To excel in customer service, it is crucial to respond quickly and effectively to customers' needs, offering solutions that address their concerns in a prompt and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• The possession of a recently issued Class A CDL license is necessary.
• Clean driving record.
• Meet the standards of DOT's medical requirements and pass a screening test for drugs.
• The importance of observing DOT guidelines and safety protocols cannot be overemphasized, as it can significantly reduce accidents.
• Possessing excellent skills in prioritizing tasks and managing time is crucial for achieving success in any field.
• Strong enough to handle and transport heavy materials.
• Remarkable proficiency in communicating effectively and providing exceptional customer service.
