Responsibilities:

• Every driver handling tractor-trailers must understand the significance of road safety.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles prior to and following journeys to guarantee their roadworthiness.
• Establish an effective method for arranging delivery routes that prioritizes productivity and timely completion of deliveries.
• Follow the recommended practices for handling and packaging to ensure the safety and security of shipments during transportation.
• Foster transparent and efficient communication with both dispatchers and customers at each juncture of the delivery operation.
• Keep track of both the time spent on work activities and the regular maintenance tasks needed for your car.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations established by the Department of Transportation to maintain the security of employees and merchandise in transit.
• Ensure timely reporting of any vehicle-related problems, incidents, or violations to uphold regulatory adherence.

Qualifications:

• Own a genuine Class A CDL license.
• Clean driving record.
• Meeting the specifications of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and screening for substance abuse.
• Expertise in coordinating tasks and organizing time proficiently.
• Possessing expertise in the secure and efficient movement of bulky goods.
• Well-versed in offering stellar customer support, adept at nurturing strong client relationships.
• Promptly report any concerns or infractions related to vehicles in order to maintain safety and compliance with rules.

Preferred Experience:

• Dry van, also known as a box trailer, is a type of trucking trailer that is enclosed and used to haul non-perishable goods. Refrigerated, or reefer, trailers are equipped with cooling systems to transport perishable goods at controlled temperatures. Flatbed trailers have an open body with no sides or roof, commonly used for transporting oversized or oddly shaped cargo. Tanker trailers are specialized for transporting liquids or gases, with various designs based on the specific substance being transported
• Transporting goods and vehicles involves the use of diverse methods like Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, and Auto Hauler
• The category of household goods includes products commonly encountered in homes
