Responsibilities:

• Safely maneuver tractor-trailers on the roads and highways while observing traffic rules.
• Carry out detailed pre- and post-journey vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develop a structured plan for delivering goods to enhance efficiency and ensure timely arrivals.
• Ensure that cargo is safely and legally secured in accordance with industry standards to safeguard its integrity in transit.
• Establish a strong collaboration with dispatchers to facilitate seamless communication and offer timely progress updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work hours, maintenance logs, and shipping information.
• Quickly communicate any incidents, equipment breakdowns, or breaches of regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Class A CDL license and a clear record behind the wheel.
• Capacity to organize time proficiently and devise effective travel paths.
• Safely handling and moving heavy objects with physical prowess.
• Proficient in interpersonal communication and client relations.
