Responsibilities:

• Give top priority to promoting road safety for all individuals operating large trucks on the roads.
• Ensure the vehicles are safe and roadworthy by conducting comprehensive pre- and post-trip checks.
• Strategically map out delivery schedules to enhance efficiency and adhere to designated delivery times.
• Follow best practices for handling and packaging shipments to ensure safe and secure transportation.
• Establish effective lines of communication with dispatchers and clients during the delivery operation.
• Keep detailed records of hours worked and the regular maintenance checks done on vehicles.
• Compliance with safety protocols and DOT mandates is essential for safeguarding both staff members and transported merchandise.
• Promptly report any vehicle anomalies, accidents, or violations to uphold compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Sustain a genuine Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Clean driving record.
• Full compliance with DOT standards for a physical exam and drug screening.
• Proficient in managing time allocation and coordinating activities efficiently.
• Skilled in the safe and efficient handling of heavy objects during transportation.
• Proficient in customer relations, skilled at developing strong connections with customers.
• Timely notification of vehicle problems or infractions is crucial for safety and regulatory compliance.
