Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring road safety for all through the careful operation of semi-trucks.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to guarantee they are performing at their best.
• Arrange effective delivery routes to facilitate prompt arrival at destinations.
• Employ industry-approved procedures for securing cargo to enhance safety measures and prevent any potential damage.
• Maintain transparent communication with all relevant parties to assure deliveries are on time and accurate.
• Boost productivity and efficiency through the meticulous recording of work hours and vehicle servicing.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety measures and regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Notify authorities immediately if there are any problems with the vehicle, accidents, or breaches of regulations to uphold safety and adhere to standards.

Qualifications:

• Possessing a lawful Class A CDL driver's permit.
• Clean driving record.
• Clear the necessary conditions for a DOT physical exam and drug screening assessment.
• Advanced knowledge of DOT safety protocols and regulatory measures.
• Demonstrates expertise in time management and effective organizational strategies.
• Proficient in the proper procedures for handling and transporting heavy machinery and equipment.
• Proficient in communication and committed to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance by promptly notifying relevant parties of vehicle concerns and accidents.
