Responsibilities:

• Every driver handling tractor-trailers must understand the significance of road safety.
• Perform exhaustive examinations of vehicles before and after travel to ensure they meet road safety standards.
• Establish an effective method for arranging delivery routes that prioritizes productivity and timely completion of deliveries.
• Guarantee the secure and safe delivery of shipments through compliance with the specified regulations for handling and packaging.
• Maintain concise and productive correspondence with dispatchers and clients at all points during the delivery process.
• Make sure to maintain detailed records of both work hours and the regular upkeep of your car.
• Adherence to safety standards and regulations mandated by the Department of Transportation is crucial for the security of employees and goods while in motion.
• Promptly inform relevant parties about any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or violations to maintain adherence to regulations.

Qualifications:

• Possess an original Class A CDL license.
• Clean driving record.
• Compliance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) standards for physical evaluations and drug screening.
• Strong aptitude for arranging time effectively and harmonizing different tasks.
• Experienced in the proficient and safe conveyance of cumbersome goods.
• Well-versed in offering stellar customer support, adept at nurturing strong client relationships.
• Alert the appropriate officials right away about any incidents or violations regarding vehicles to uphold safety and adherence to regulations.

Preferred Experience:

• Dry vans, also known as box trailers, are enclosed trailers used to transport goods that do not need refrigeration. Refrigerated trailers, or reefers, are equipped with cooling systems to keep perishable goods at controlled temperatures during transport. Flatbed trailers feature an open design without sides or a roof, commonly used for moving large or oddly shaped items. Tanker trailers are designed for transporting liquids or gases, with different models tailored to the specific material being carried
• The movement of goods and vehicles can be achieved through different transportation modes like Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, and Auto Hauler
• The classification of household goods encompasses products that are frequently utilized in homes
