Key Responsibilities:

• Safely maneuver tractor-trailers to promote a secure environment for all road users.
• To maintain optimal functionality, it is advised to perform vehicle inspections both before and after each trip.
• Devise effective itineraries to secure timely transportation to intended destinations.
• Utilize best-practice methods from the industry to secure cargo appropriately, lowering risks and safeguarding against potential harm.
• Ensure that communication remains clear with all stakeholders to achieve accurate and timely deliveries.
• Track work hours and vehicle maintenance with accuracy to sustain high levels of productivity.
• Make sure to meticulously follow safety guidelines and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Promptly notify appropriate personnel of any vehicle-related issues, incidents, or infractions to uphold safety and compliance principles.

Qualifications:

• Holding a legitimate Class A CDL for driving purposes.
• Clean driving record.
• Meet the standards set by the DOT for a physical exam and drug screening.
• Advanced expertise in DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Demonstrating mastery in time allocation and organizational strategies.
• Knowledgeable in the efficient relocation of oversized equipment and machinery.
• Strong communication proficiency and a dedication to customer care.
• Devotion to prioritizing safety and regulatory conformity, which involves the timely reporting of vehicle incidents or issues.
