Key Responsibilities:

• Operating large trucks responsibly to promote safety for everyone on the road.
• Ensure vehicles are in top condition by performing inspections before and after trips consistently.
• Construct efficient transportation schedules to ensure timely deliveries at designated destinations.
• Incorporate industry-specific best practices for securing cargo to minimize risks and protect against potential damage.
• Ensure that communication remains clear with all parties involved to guarantee deliveries are both timely and accurate.
• Enhance operational efficiency and productivity by maintaining precise records of work hours and consistently monitoring vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and comply with the regulations stipulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Timely reporting of vehicle issues, accidents, or violations is necessary to ensure safety and adhere to regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Holding an official Class A CDL driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Abide by the guidelines for passing a DOT physical assessment and drug screening review.
• Strong command of DOT safety requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Displays a high level of competency in time allocation and task organization.
• Proficient in the proper procedures for handling and transporting heavy machinery and equipment.
• Skilled in communication and focused on delivering top-notch service to customers.
• Making safety a top priority by swiftly reporting vehicle issues and accidents in accordance with regulations.
