Qualifications of Heavy Truck Driver:
- This job necessitates a CDL Class A
- - The position necessitates candidates to hold, or be able to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Candidates must fulfill the requirement of having one year of tractor-trailer experience documented in the last three years, or two years of tractor-trailer experience documented within the last five years
- -Verifying a driving history over the past three years, showing two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Stay in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency standards to ensure compliance is met
- A necessary function of the position is adhering to consistent, expected, and complete attendance
- Follow the required work hours, carry out tasks at the designated site, fill out the Penske job application form, agree to a background check encompassing previous employment, educational background, and criminal history, and undergo a mandatory drug test
- This role is supervised by the Department of Transportation or identified as safety sensitive by the organization, requiring individuals to operate with continuous vigilance and prioritize safety at all times. Employees must be willing to accept accountability for their own safety and the safety of others.

- The Heavy Truck Driver must be able to see and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
- The employee should be capable of driving a vehicle following legal regulations and safely entering and exiting the vehicle, as well as the rear cargo compartment.
