Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• A minimum of 6 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
• A verifiable record of safe driving practices
• The capability to successfully complete all necessary DOT physical exams and drug screenings
• Prior experience with refrigerated transport is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and strong time management abilities

Responsibilities:

• Operate a commercial vehicle with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer
• Secure and transport all loads safely
• Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate and detailed logs and trip reports
• Maintain open and clear communication with dispatchers and logistics personnel
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
• Provide great customer service during interactions at delivery sites
