Responsibilities:

• Focus on the significance of prioritizing safety measures for drivers of tractor-trailers during their journeys.
• Validate the fitness of vehicles for travel by conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Efficiently coordinate and structure delivery routes to achieve maximum productivity and on-time deliveries.
• Make sure shipments are transported safely and securely by following industry standards for handling and packaging.
• Ensure effective and consistent communication with dispatchers and customers throughout the delivery process.
• Stay organized by documenting work hours and vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently.
• It is crucial to follow safety measures and abide by DOT regulations for the protection of both employees and freight.
• Stay in line with regulations by promptly reporting any vehicle issues, accidents, or infractions.

Qualifications:

• Posses an up-to-date Class A CDL authorization.
• Clean driving record.
• Execution of a DOT physical evaluation and substance abuse testing.
• Skilled in time-control and harmonizing various responsibilities.
• Capable of securely moving and lifting heavy materials with ease.
• Having expertise in customer service, particularly in establishing meaningful relationships with clients.
• Immediately report any concerns or violations related to vehicles to prioritize safety and compliance.

Preferred Experience:

• Dry Van, Refrigerated (Reefer), Flatbed, Tanker
• Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, Auto Hauler are diverse modes of transport that cater to specific needs within the logistics sector
• Household goods consist of various items commonly found in homes for everyday use
