Responsibilities:

• It is essential to underscore the importance of road safety measures for those operating tractor-trailers.
• Inspect vehicles comprehensively before and after journeys to verify their suitability for the road.
• Craft a well-defined strategy for mapping out delivery routes to increase productivity and ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow the recommended practices for handling and packaging to ensure the safety and security of shipments during transportation.
• Establish and uphold effective communication with dispatchers and customers throughout all aspects of the delivery process.
• Maintain accurate records of both work hours and the regular care your car receives.
• Uphold the safety of workers and commodities in transit by following safety protocols and regulations mandated by the Department of Transportation.
• Ensure timely reporting of any vehicle-related problems, incidents, or violations to uphold regulatory adherence.

Qualifications:

• Own a genuine Class A CDL license.
• Clean driving record.
• Satisfying the conditions set by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for a physical examination and drug screening.
• Skilled in time allocation and coordinating tasks in a synchronized manner.
• Possessing expertise in the secure and efficient movement of bulky goods.
• Capable of providing excellent customer service, skilled in establishing strong relationships with customers.
• Quickly inform the authorities about any problems or infractions related to vehicles to ensure adherence to regulations and safety.

Flatbed trailers have an open body with no sides or roof, commonly used for transporting oversized or oddly shaped cargo. Tanker trailers are specialized for transporting liquids or gases, with various designs based on the specific substance being transported
• Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, and Auto Hauler are distinct transportation options employed for the relocation of goods and automobiles
• Products categorized as household goods are commonly seen in houses and apartments
