Key Responsibilities:

• Follow safe practices while operating tractor-trailers to prevent hazards for other road users.
• Consistently examining vehicles before and after trips is key to ensuring they operate at their best.
• Design effective routing strategies to ensure punctual deliveries to specified destinations.
• Abide by recognized industry standards for securing cargo, diminishing risks and fostering a safe working environment.
• Cultivate transparent communication with stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely deliveries.
• Keep detailed accounts of work hours and vehicle servicing to optimize productivity levels.
• It is important to observe and follow all safety procedures and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules.
• Notify authorities immediately about any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or breaches to uphold safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Holding a legitimate Class A CDL for driving purposes.
• Clean driving record.
• Fulfill the criteria of a DOT physical exam and drug screening.
• Proficient comprehension of DOT standards for safety and regulations.
• Demonstrating mastery in time allocation and organizational strategies.
• Demonstrated proficiency in heavy equipment and machinery logistics.
• Effective communication paired with a focus on meeting customer needs.
• Unwavering dedication to safety protocols and regulatory compliance, including the timely reporting of vehicle incidents or issues.
