Fleet Specialist

Job Summary:

Ferrellgas is looking for a Fleet Specialist to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining databases containing titles, registrations, and permits for all company vehicles. The incumbent tracks vehicle sales and new vehicle purchases, entering data into respective databases to ensure accuracy and continuity. This position also helps to maintain relationships with business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain the database for titling of new vehicles, asset sales, transfers, and retirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for all vendors who purchase equipment to be retired.
• Enter and reconcile data in the registration database, sending the necessary information to field locations for local registrations at DMV offices.
• Receive, review, input, and file vehicle paperwork, including MSO's (Manufacturers Statement of Origin), invoices, and titles, ensuring their accuracy.
• Submit new vehicle invoices for payment.
• Update the toll violation database and send the toll violation notice to affected field location management.
• Collaborate with third-party licensing vendors to secure proper licensing for all vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, Hazmat, and IFTA permits.
• Perform other duties/functions as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and other relevant applications.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must not require sponsorship for an employment visa now or in the future.
