Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A is a prerequisite
  • Currently in possession of, or capable of acquiring, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card is necessary
  • year of verifiable experience driving tractor-trailers within the past 3 years is necessary, or 2 years of verified tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 5 years
  • A DMV/MVR record spanning three years showing a maximum of two moving violations or accidents
  • Adhere to the designated work hours, perform duties at the designated site, fill out the Penske job application, undergo a background check encompassing previous work experience, education, and any criminal record, as well as participate in a mandatory drug test.
  • This role is overseen by the Department of Transportation or identified as safety critical by the organization, necessitating the capacity to operate while fully awake and securely. It is essential for employees to be capable of taking ownership of their safety and that of their colleagues to maintain a secure work environment.
