Responsibilities of a Company Driver Position:

CDL-A Company Drivers are tasked with using company-provided commercial vehicles to move goods across different distances while guaranteeing on-time deliveries and safe transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive trucks assigned by the company to transport freight to designated locations.
• Complete examinations prior to departure and upon arrival to ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of the vehicle.
• Stay on track with assigned routes and adhere to schedules for punctuality.
• Ensure logs of driving activities are accurate and in line with federal and state guidelines.
• Establish clear communication channels with dispatchers to relay information about delivery statuses and address any issues that arise.
• Properly secure and handle the cargo to prevent any potential harm or destruction.
• Obey all traffic laws as well as guidelines established by the company.
• Assist in moving freight onto and off of trucks as necessary.
