Qualifications:
- A CDL Class A license is mandatory
- It is essential to have, or be able to acquire, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Applicants must have 1 year of confirmed tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years of acknowledged tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years for consideration
- A three-year DMV/MVR report reflecting no more than two moving violations or accidents
- Follow the recommended work schedule, operate from the designated work site, complete the necessary Penske application for employment, go through a background check examining past employment, educational history, and criminal background, and partake in a mandatory drug test.
- In this role, oversight is provided by either the Department of Transportation or the company, with a focus on safety sensitivity, requiring employees to operate in a vigilant and secure manner. Individuals are expected to prioritize their safety and that of their peers while on duty.
