Hazmat Truck Driver

Job Summary

We are actively seeking a qualified Hazmat Truck Driver to transport hazardous materials across local and regional routes safely. This role demands a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, ensuring the secure delivery of chemical, flammable, or pressurized cargo. Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks to deliver hazardous materials to designated locations.
• Ensure accurate documentation, including shipping papers and compliance reports.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all safety protocols and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and safety personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical condition of assigned truck and equipment.
• Adhere to company and federal guidelines for driving time and breaks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum experience commercial driving, preferably with hazardous materials.
• Strong understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations.
• Excellent driving record with no recent accidents or violations.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary

Pay varies based on route type, driver experience, and employment structure (company driver). Drivers can expect competitive per-mile rates, hourly wages, or percentage-based pay. Additional incentives may be offered for safe driving, fuel efficiency, and on-time delivery.
