Qualifications of Regional Truck Driver:
- Regional Truck Driver required
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
- This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
Physical Requirements of Regional Truck Driver:

- The employee should possess the capacity to observe and listen. This position necessitates particular visual skills such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, side vision, perception of depth, and the skill to refine focus.
- During the execution of this role, the employee will need to be mobile, stand, walk, and sit often. They will also frequently engage in activities that involve using their hands to touch, manipulate, and sense objects, as well as reaching with their hands and arms. It is required that the employee can routinely carry and/or relocate objects weighing up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or shift items up to 100lbs/45kg.
- The employee needs to possess the necessary legal authorization to drive a car and routinely get in and out of the vehicle, including accessing the back cargo space securely.
