Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a CDL A license and be 21 years of age or older.
• Verifiable experience of a minimum of three months is mandatory.
• Earnings for drivers are based on a system that factors in the number of miles allocated for each trip, with payment rates fluctuating between 57 to 64 cents per mile, figures that are determined according to elements that include the nature of the route and the driver's background in the field.
• It is necessary for individuals participating in the Flex Fleet to live within 250 miles of a U.S. Xpress terminal location.
• Eligibility for bonus payouts is dependent on meeting certain requirements. Speak to a Recruiter for further details.
• Within the recent two-year timeframe, there has been only one incident of an avoidable accident involving commercial vehicles on the road.
• The individual should not have committed more than two moving violations in the previous two years.
• A clean driving record is required, meaning no DUI or DWI infractions within the last five years, or within ten years if the offense was committed while holding a CDL.
• A successful applicant must demonstrate their ability to fulfill the criteria by satisfying a DOT physical assessment and drug examination. Those with a recent drug-related conviction within the last five years, or ten years with a CDL, are not qualified.
• Individuals driving under the influence of SAP are not permitted to be hired.
