Key Responsibilities:

• Safely driving semi-trucks to protect the safety of everyone on the road.
• Maintain vehicle efficiency by performing pre- and post-trip inspections to identify any issues.
• Formulate efficient logistic routes to ensure timely deliveries at prescribed destinations.
• Incorporate industry-specific best practices for securing cargo to minimize risks and protect against potential damage.
• Establish and uphold clear communication with all parties to ensure deliveries are both timely and accurate.
• Increase efficiency and productivity levels by maintaining accurate records of work hours and vehicle maintenance activities.
• Adhere closely to safety protocols and guidelines established by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Promptly informing about any vehicle problems, accidents, or violations is crucial for ensuring safety and following regulations.

Qualifications:

• A legitimate license to drive Class A commercial vehicles.
• Clean driving record.
• Adhere to the protocols for a DOT physical test and drug screening process.
• Proficient in navigating DOT regulations and upholding safety standards.
• Displays a high level of competency in time allocation and task organization.
• Competent in the safe transportation and handling of heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
• Great communication skills coupled with a customer-centric approach.
• Dedication to safety and adherence to regulations, ensuring prompt reporting of vehicle problems and incidents.
