Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• A minimum of 6 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
• A verifiable history of safe driving practices
• Ability to successfully complete all necessary DOT physicals and drug screenings
• Experience with temperature-controlled freight is considered an asset
• Proficiency in communication and time management

Responsibilities:

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle both safely and efficiently
• Execute thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer
• Guarantee the secure transport of all freight
• Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain meticulous logbooks and trip records
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch and logistics teams
• Manage time effectively to meet all delivery timelines
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and promptly report any mechanical issues
• Deliver excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations
