Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the safety of all road participants by operating tractor-trailers with caution.
• To maintain optimal functionality, it is advised to perform vehicle inspections both before and after each trip.
• Create efficient roadmaps to ensure on-time dispatches to various drop-off spots.
• Utilize best-practice methods from the industry to secure cargo appropriately, lowering risks and safeguarding against potential harm.
• Sustain clear and regular communication with all involved parties to ensure precise and punctual deliveries.
• Keep detailed accounts of work hours and vehicle servicing to optimize productivity levels.
• Adherence to safety protocols and full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is required.
• Alert relevant parties promptly about any vehicle issues, accidents, or violations to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Holding a legitimate Class A CDL for driving purposes.
• Clean driving record.
• Pass the DOT physical exam and drug test to comply with regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Skilled in time management techniques and organizational capabilities.
• Well-versed in the transportation of weighty machinery and equipment.
• Strong communication proficiency and a dedication to customer care.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance, including the prompt reporting of vehicle incidents or problems.
