Responsibilities:

• Driving tractor-trailers safely is crucial in preventing accidents on the road and safeguarding fellow drivers.
• Carrying out comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections serves as a measure to ascertain that the vehicle is in excellent condition and roadworthy.
• Efficiently mapping out delivery routes is critical in maintaining on-time delivery to all areas.
• Protecting goods in transit should be a top priority. Use high-quality packaging materials and load and unload packages carefully to avoid damage throughout the entire transportation process.
• Open and effective communication with dispatchers and customers is crucial for the timely and seamless delivery of products.
• Maintain thorough records of the time spent on the job and document all instances of car maintenance to ensure precise accounting.
• Safety should always be our top priority, and one effective way to achieve this is to stick to all the safety regulations and DOT guidelines.
• To remain in adherence with safety and regulatory standards, it is important to report any vehicle-related problems, incidents, or violations without delay.

Requirements:

• Comply with the prerequisites for obtaining a Class A CDL permit.
• Demonstrating a flawless driving record without any major violations.
• Fulfill the criteria for a DOT physical exam and drug screening.
• Expertise in comprehending the complexities of DOT rules and safety protocols.
• Outstanding ability to manage time and organize tasks effectively.
• Expertise in effectively maneuvering and conveying weighty materials.
• The ability to communicate well and provide outstanding customer service is essential for building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Vehicles related issues, mishaps, or regulatory violations should be immediately reported to ensure safety standards are maintained.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• Individuals who are currently enrolled in CDL training programs or schools are preparing themselves for the tests and challenges that come with operating a commercial vehicle
• Entry-level commercial drivers
• Trainings that are completed in just 12 weeks
• A group of individuals with varying levels of experience, some with just a few months and others with five or more years
