Key Responsibilities:

• Operate tractor-trailers with caution to safeguard the well-being of other motorists.
• Verify the safety of the vehicle through rigorous pre- and post-trip checks.
• Create streamlined plans for ensuring prompt delivery schedules.
• Employ commonly accepted practices within the field to protect the goods and maintain a high level of safety.
• Foster clear communication with all parties involved to assure deliveries are timely and accurate.
• Enhance productivity by diligently recording work hours and consistently maintaining vehicles.
• Adhere to the safety provisions laid out by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Speedily inform relevant parties of any vehicle problems, accidents, or violations to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Have a current Class A commercial driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Fulfill the criteria for a DOT physical evaluation and substance abuse test.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT safety regulations and requirements.
• Exhibits a talent for optimizing time management and organizational structuring.
• Capable of handling and relocating weighty industrial equipment efficiently.
• Profound communication skills coupled with a steadfast commitment to superior customer relations.
• Cultivating a safety-driven culture that stresses the immediate reporting of vehicle problems or incidents.
