• Uphold the utmost safety etiquette when operating commercial vehicles to safeguard individuals on and off the road.
• To keep your vehicle running smoothly and prevent any unexpected problems, it's crucial to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections before and after each trip.
• Create an optimized delivery schedule and map out effective routes to minimize delays.
• Failure to comply with industry safety protocols for cargo handling can result in serious accidents or even loss of life.
• Regularly touching base with dispatchers and customers is necessary in order to ensure that all deliveries go smoothly.
• Accurate documentation of work hours and vehicle maintenance is imperative.
• DOT regulations are there to ensure that there are standardized measures across all transportation systems, and strictly adhering to them improves transport efficiency while also ensuring safety.
• Make sure to promptly report any collisions, vehicle malfunctions, or infractions to the appropriate law enforcement or state agencies.
• To deliver top-notch customer service, it is essential to respond quickly to customers' needs and provide them with effective solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• A Class A CDL license that is legitimate and up-to-date is required.
• Clean driving record.
• Meet the standards of DOT's medical requirements and pass a screening test for drugs.
• Establishment and adherence to DOT guidelines and safety regulations can go a long way in reducing accidents on the road.
• Efficient task prioritization and time management can play a crucial role in reducing stress and increasing job satisfaction.
• Endowed with the ability to lift and transport bulky loads.
• Strong skills in delivering outstanding customer service and communicating effectively.
