Key Responsibilities:

• Safely maneuver tractor-trailers to promote a secure environment for all road users.
• Optimal performance of vehicles can be maintained by conducting routine pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Craft efficient delivery schedules to optimize timely distribution to designated destinations.
• Enforce protocols endorsed by the industry for securing cargo correctly, reducing risks and preventing possible damage.
• Establish and maintain clear communication channels with all parties involved for accurate and timely deliveries.
• Enhance productivity by keeping thorough logs of work hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Maintain adherence to safety and compliance requirements by promptly reporting vehicle problems, accidents, or violations.

Qualifications:

• Having a valid Class A driver’s license for commercial use.
• Clean driving record.
• Successfully complete a Department of Transportation physical examination and undergo a drug screening.
• Profound familiarity with DOT rules and regulations regarding safety measures.
• Demonstrating adeptness in time allocation and organizational proficiency.
• Well-versed in the transportation of weighty machinery and equipment.
• Exceptional customer orientation and superior communication capabilities.
• A resolute commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, which includes the timely reporting of vehicle incidents or problems.
