Responsibilities:

• Ensuring road safety for every driver of a tractor-trailer is a top priority that cannot be overlooked.
• Carry out comprehensive vehicle evaluations before and after trips to confirm their roadworthiness.
• Establish a strategic plan for managing delivery routes to increase productivity and guarantee timely deliveries.
• Guarantee the safe and secure transportation of shipments by following the specified regulations for handling and packaging.
• Maintain clear and productive communication with both dispatchers and customers throughout the entire delivery process.
• Ensure precise documentation of both the hours allocated for work and the routine upkeep of your vehicle.
• Upholding safety standards and guidelines outlined by the Department of Transportation is paramount to safeguarding the well-being of employees and goods in transit.
• Quickly communicate any issues regarding vehicles, incidents, or violations to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Fulfilling the requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for physical evaluations and drug screening.
• Competency in effectively organizing time and synchronizing tasks.
• Expertise in the efficient and safe transportation of heavy and cumbersome items.
• Experienced in delivering superior customer support, proficient in establishing strong relationships with customers.
• Uphold safety and adherence to regulations by quickly alerting the authorities to any incidents or violations related to vehicles.

Flatbed trailers have an open body with no sides or roof, commonly used for transporting oversized or oddly shaped cargo. Tanker trailers are specialized for transporting liquids or gases, with various designs based on the specific substance being transported
• Doubles/Triples, Intermodal, and Auto Hauler are examples of transportation methods that can be chosen for the relocation of goods and vehicles
• Household goods consist of items commonly utilized in residential environments
