Responsibilities:

• In order to ensure the safety of all drivers on the road, it is essential to operate tractor-trailers in a responsible and secure way.
• Before hitting the road, take the time to carefully inspect your vehicle's condition through thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Creating an optimized delivery route plan can guarantee on-time deliveries to all intended destinations.
• The importance of safe transport cannot be overstated. Always pack and handle goods with utmost care and caution to prevent any damages or losses. By doing so, you are able to fulfill your obligations of delivering goods in good condition.
• For successful deliveries, it's crucial to maintain clear and open lines of communication with dispatchers and customers.
• Keep a careful record of time spent on the job and document all instances of automobile maintenance and repairs.
• One of the most important things we can do to ensure safety in our workplace is to follow the safety regulations and DOT guidelines to the letter.
• It is imperative that any issues, accidents, or legal infringements involving a vehicle are reported immediately in order to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Have a valid license for a Class A CDL.
• Showing an immaculate record behind the wheel with no serious infractions.
• Meet the requirements for a DOT physical exam and drug screening.
• Proficient in understanding DOT regulations and safety measures to ensure compliance.
• Exceptional aptitude for time management and organizing work efficiently.
• Competency in the adept handling and transportation of heavy objects.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are vital in developing strong, lasting client connections.
• Reporting of vehicular malfunctions, accidents, or noncompliance with laws should be expedited without delay to maintain safety standards.

Experience Levels Accepted:

• Aspiring professional drivers who are getting trained in CDL schools have a strong desire for a successful career in the transportation industry
• Entry-level commercial drivers
• Training periods can be as short as 12 weeks
