Qualifications:

• A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
• Must possess at least six months of recent experience driving tractor-trailers.
• A proven history of safe driving is essential.
• Ability to successfully complete all Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screenings.
• Previous experience with refrigerated freight is considered an asset.
• Must demonstrate strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip.
• Guarantee the safe and timely transport and delivery of all goods.
• Comply strictly with all federal, state, and local driving laws and regulations.
• Keep precise and current logbooks and trip records.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and logistics personnel.
• Manage your time effectively to meet all scheduled delivery deadlines.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and promptly report any mechanical issues to the maintenance department.
• Interact with customers at delivery locations in a professional and courteous manner.
